Cartoon characters
Six ready-made characters to put in a cartoon or start a new one from. Each is a skeleton of named parts with shapes on its bones, so every move on this site plays on every one of them.
A character on Jabbertoon is not a picture. It is a small tree of bones, each with a name such as arm, shin, tail or ear, and a shape drawn on each bone. Moves talk to the names, not the drawings, so a move written for a person also plays on a dog, which answers with its front legs where a person uses arms. Every ready-made character can be opened in the character creator and changed, and every one is CC0, free for anyone to use.
PersonA grown-up with hips, a spine in two parts, arms that bend at the elbow and a face that talks: the one most cartoons start with.
KidA child with a big head and pigtails you can turn off. The short legs and the big face make every move look a little more excited.
DogFour legs, floppy ears that flop on their own, a tail in four parts that wags and whips, and a snout that opens when it talks.
CatA striped cat with a long tail that curls, pointed ears and whiskers. It walks on four legs and waves hello with a front paw.
BirdA round bird whose wings, two parts each, flap and bend. It stands on thin legs, hops about and talks with a beak that opens.
MonsterRound and friendly, with jointed arms and claws, antennae in three parts, spots, a tail, one eye or two, and legs or none.
