Licences
Moves, characters and scenes: CC0
Every pack Jabbertoon ships, each move, each ready-made character and the example cartoon, is released under CC0 1.0: we give up all our rights in it. You may copy it, change it, sell what you make with it and use it in any project, without asking and without credit. Each pack's file names its licence in its "license" field.
Characters and moves that you make yourself are yours. Jabbertoon marks them with the licence "own", which means the maker keeps every right, and nothing about them is sent to us.
Preview pictures: CC BY 4.0
The preview pictures on this site, the images of moves, looks and characters, are released under CC BY 4.0. You may use them anywhere, also commercially, as long as you give credit: Jabbertoon, jabbertoon.com.
The code: Apache-2.0
Jabbertoon's code, including the engine and the block language's reference implementation, is licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0.
Third-party pieces
The studio and the block editor load a few open-source pieces from their public sources at run time; none of them is part of Jabbertoon's own code.
| What | Licence |

| Blockly, the block editor | Apache-2.0 |

| Kokoro-82M, the voice model | Apache-2.0 |
| DiceBear, the avatar maker | MIT |
| Open Peeps artwork by Pablo Stanley | CC0 1.0 |

kokoro-js depends on phonemizer, which uses eSpeak NG, licensed under GPL-3.0; it is loaded from its public source and not copied into Jabbertoon.
Names
"Jabbertoon" is the name of this project. Scratch is a project of the Scratch Foundation, Toontastic is Google's, and Unity and Godot belong to their makers; Jabbertoon is not affiliated with any of them.
