Minecraft house ideas
Five houses to build in Minecraft, each made in the Forge, Jabbertoon's free 3D builder, from a builder's pieces: walls with doors and windows cut in them, floors, roofs, posts and chimneys. Open any of them in your browser, change anything you like, and take it into Minecraft as blocks for Java, Bedrock or Minecraft Education. Each one's page has the link that opens it, how to take it into Minecraft and every block it takes. There is no account to make and nothing to install.

A Japanese house

A raised wooden veranda on a stone base, clay walls between dark timbers, wide sliding doors, and a broad tiled roof with a steep gable on it; a stone lantern by the path: 3,700 blocks at 24 long. The Japanese house, its link and its blocks
A simple house

The house everyone builds first: oak plank walls with log corners on cobblestone, a pitched roof, a door with a step and a lantern, flower boxes under the windows: 4,416 blocks at 24 long. The simple house, its link and its blocks
A small house

A little spruce cabin, one room, with a porch on two posts under its own roof, a steep roof and a stone chimney: 4,292 blocks at 24 long. The small house, its link and its blocks
A modern house

White concrete and glass: floor-to-ceiling windows, an upper floor jutting out over the front with a strip of wood, flat roofs and a terrace behind glass: 3,130 blocks at 24 long. The modern house, its link and its blocks
Take one into Minecraft
- Open the house from its page, press ⬇ Export and scroll to For Minecraft.
- Set Its longest side to 24 blocks: big enough to keep its timbers, frames and posts.
- Pick Java (.schem) for WorldEdit or Litematica, Java, no mods (.nbt) for a structure block, or Bedrock, Education (.mcstructure). Each house's page says where to put the file.
Each part becomes the block of what it is made of: stone one of Minecraft's stones, wood its planks, glass glass.
Make your own
Start from one of these and change it, or ask ChatGPT, Claude or any AI assistant that can use tools to build you a house with the Jabbertoon tools (how to connect your AI). To start from nothing, see the free Minecraft schematic maker.
