Excited
Excited: bouncing on the spot, the knees springing, the fists pumping up and down in turn, the whole body unable to keep still.

What it is for
Excited is for the moment before something good: the party about to start, the gift about to be opened, the race about to begin. It loops every second, two bounces, so a character can be excited for as long as the wait lasts.
The principle it shows: timing
Every beat is a quarter of a second: the knees bend and straighten, the fists swap places, the head nods back, all on the same quick count. Four beats a second is faster than a calm heartbeat, and that quickness is what reads as excitement; slow the same moves to one beat a second and it looks like exercise.

How it differs from Jump for joy and Cheer with pom-poms
Jump for joy leaves the ground in one big leap; Excited keeps its feet down and bounces fast. Cheer with pom-poms also takes turns with the arms, cheering someone else on.
