Sword Duel is a sword tournament with no end. You fight twelve bouts through three places, the Village Green, the Castle Yard and the Crypt, and then the tournament starts again, every foe better and tougher, and more of them at once. Each bout is the best of three rounds. How far can you go?

How to play

Each round you are locked on to your foe, and the arrow keys circle them. F strikes; hold it for a heavy blow. R blocks, and a block just before a blow lands is a parry that leaves them open. Shift rolls out of the way. T drinks your healing flask, one a round. When your special bar is full, V lets your special move go. The bar fills as you land blows, parry and roll through attacks.

On a phone, the game fills the screen: the stick on the left moves you, and the Attack, Block, Roll and Special buttons are on the right.

What changes as you climb

• New weapons wait on the rack as you win, and the Champion's own longsword is yours for beating him.
• Each bout's foes are better and tougher than the last, and later bouts send more than one at a time.
