Storybook
Thin, warm brown outlines, gentle shading, a paper grain over the colours and rosy cheeks: the look of a picture book.

What it is
Storybook mixes a little of everything, softly. The outlines are thin and drawn in a warm brown mixed with each shape's own colour, rather than black. There is gentle shading from the same light as the Soft look, a paper grain laid over the colours, a slight warm tint, and a blush on the cheeks. The eyes are small and dark, like beads. It looks hand-made, and it feels calm.
When to choose it
Choose Storybook for stories: a fairy tale, a retelling of a book read in class, a gentle animal adventure. It suits younger audiences and quiet scenes, and it looks good on a still frame, so it works well when students take screenshots for a printed story. It is less suited to fast action, because the thin lines and the grain are subtle and fast moves blur them.
Every character in it
The person and the kid get rosy cheeks and soft brown outlines, which makes them look friendlier than in the bolder looks. The dog and the cat look like illustrations from an animal story, their fur colours warmed and lightly textured. The bird gets bead eyes and blushing cheeks, and the monster looks more like a plush toy than a scary beast. Where the page's scripts run, the tiles below show all six, moving.
How it is drawn
The outline is 2.4 pixels wide at full-HD size in a warm ink, the shading is a little weaker than in Soft, the paper grain is strong, the cheeks are tinted, and every colour is warmed by 5%. The grain is a fixed pattern, not random, so it looks the same in every frame and every time the cartoon is played. Moves play the same as in every other look.
