Climb (four legs)
The climb of the game cycles for four legs: the front legs reach up in turn while the back legs push, the body tipped up, looping every 0.8 seconds for as long as a game has the character climbing.

What it is for
Climb (four legs) is the climb of the nine game cycles, written for the fours set: reaching up with the front legs in turn and pushing with the back legs, the body tipped up, rather than reaching hand over hand the way the upright Climb does. Like the other climbs in this set, it keeps no foot-planting math at all, since there is no floor to plant against.
The principle it shows: secondary action
The front legs reaching up, in turn, are the main action. The back legs pushing, at the same speed but a half-turn out of phase, and the tail swinging at that same rhythm, are secondary actions layered on top rather than moving in lockstep with the front legs.

Try this
Reach the front left leg 40 degrees instead of 26. The climb stretches noticeably further with each reach.
In the program:

How it differs from Climb and Swim (four legs)
Climb is the same idea pulling hand over hand on a two-legged body rather than reaching with front legs. Swim (four legs) is the other cycle written for this body with no foot-planting math, paddling through water rather than climbing.
