Fall dead

Felled: the knees give, it drops over them, topples back and lies on its back, the arms flung out, the eyes closed; still.

What it is for

A foe beaten in a fight: in a game it plays as the fighter falls, and it stays down.

The principle it shows: the body gives way, then falls

Nothing pushes: everything falls. The knees give first, so the body drops over them; then it tips back past where it can catch itself and goes down onto its back, the arms flung out as they fall. A fall that starts with the legs reads as weight, not as a jump down; one that ends flat and still reads as the end.

Try this

  1. Slow the knees giving, from 0.3 s to 0.5 s: a slower collapse.

In the program: ramp ยท over 0.3 โ†’ 0.5

  2. Sink the body lower as the knees give: a heavier fall.

    In the program: ramp ยท to.dy 87.5 โ†’ 113.8

How it differs from the others

Kneel (yields) goes down on one knee and stays upright, beaten but alive.

Works on

The two in the film above, and what the move turns on each: worked out by the build, which plays the move on each body and checks what moves. Nobody types this table.
