Head tilt
An animal tilts its head over to one side, its ears up, puzzled, holds it there, then straightens.
Use it in a cartoonChange it in the move makerThe pack file (JSON)
What it is for
A dog hearing a strange noise, or its name said a new way. It is what Ask, Think and Shrug play on four legs, and a person can do it too.
The principle it shows: a question in one part
The whole question is in the head: it tilts over to one side (its tilt, not its nod) with the ears pricked, and holds. Everything else stays still, so the tilt is all you see.
The program, line by line
when it starts
show the side view
at the same time:
โ 1:
glide head 0, part:head~tilt 0 over 0 s
glide head -6, part:head~tilt 28 over 0.35 s (out)
glide head -6, part:head~tilt 28 over 0.75 s
glide head 0, part:head~tilt 0 over 0.4 s
โ 2:
glide left ear 0, right ear 0 over 0 s
glide left ear 18, right ear 18 over 0.35 s
glide left ear 18, right ear 18 over 0.75 s
glide left ear 0, right ear 0 over 0.4 s0 sโ head 0, ears 0.0.35 sโ head -6 tilt 28, ears 18.1.1 sโ head -6 tilt 28, ears 18.1.5 sโ head 0 tilt 0, ears 0.
Try this
Take 0.6 s over its first change instead of 0.35 s: a slower head tilt.
In the program:
ramp ยท over0.35โ0.6Turn the head's tilt to 36.4 instead of 28: a bigger head tilt.
In the program:
ramp ยท to.part:head~tilt28โ36.4
How it differs from the others
Nod yes dips the head forward; Sniff around turns it from side to side, low.
