Who it is
The cat is the dog's quieter cousin: the same four-legged plan, a slimmer body, stripes, pointed ears and whiskers. It faces right in its side view, and has a front view and a back view drawn from the same bones, so it can turn to look at you. Cats in cartoons are often proud or mischievous, and the slow moves suit it: a long tail swish, a careful walk, a dignified bow.
Its body
The cat has a torso with the head at the front and a long tail at the back, a chain of four segments so it can curl. Its ears are pointed, short and each in one piece, and its four legs, two at the back and two at the front, each have a leg, a shin and a foot, the paw, named in the list of its bones below as back left, back right, front left and front right. As with the dog, the front legs answer to a move's arm channels and the front paws act as its hands, so it raises a front paw for a wave. A cat cannot reach its hips with its paws, and a move that asks for that leaves the paws planted.
Making it yours
In the studio you can change the fur, the muzzle-and-paws and the stripe colours, choose a body shape and a look, and stretch it. In the creator you can change its tail, its ears or its colours, or start from it to build another animal: a fox, a tiger, a lion with a mane of hair. The parts keep their names, so every move still plays.
Good moves to start with
Whip tail with a slower lag gives the long, curling swish of a cat watching something. Walk in and Walk back and forth show its four-legged walk, and Look around turns it from side to front to back. The list below has every move that suits the cat.

Moves that suit it
Worked out by the build, not typed. A move is listed when, played on this character, it moves the parts the move is about: the kinds of part it moves on most of the characters that have them (arms, wings or front legs; legs; tails; ears; hair). A move about the whole body suits every character. The small words say what moves.
